Hi there! I am John Blade. Welcome
to my Website. This website is my passport to mainstream acting. I have been an
actor since the age of 12. I was cast for a leading
role in an industrial movie titled, "Weeds Is Weeds," filmed in Missoula
MT.The director, Lex Hames, referred to me as "being a natural in front of
the camera". I went on to perform in the Shakespearian Play, "A Mid
Summer's Night Dream." This four-month experience took place in the Riverfront
Park Theatre in Missoula, MT.
I left my acting career to study and play sports. Over the last
four years, I have been preparing to return to the world of film.
I have become very skilled in the art of sticks, sword, bow, and
dagger. I can perform all of the martial arts weaponry that Ray
Park presents in the movie Star Wars as Darth Maul. I study Ki Fighting
Concepts, kenpo karate, the Slam Set, JKD, Muay Tai Kickboxing,
Pentjak Silat, Kung Fu, Doce Pares, and a few other forms of fighting.
Check out my school, "Ki Fighting Concepts" located in
Links.
I compete in the sport of Bodybuilding, and have finished over ten shows to
date. I have an athletic physique that I can manipulate within weeks to achieve
a smoother, bulkier
appearance. Or I can get freaky ripped in only a few weeks. I have mastered my
body and nutrition. Therefore I can achieve the look needed for any role within
a matter of weeks. I would have been perfect for the Stephen King movie, Thinner.
Or any action flick like, Fight Club, Gladiator, or Mission Impossible. I would
make an excellent fighter in a martial arts film, or a muscular brute in a Gladiator
type movie.
I recently competed in a Survivor contest. I was one of ten survivors
to compete in the "Surviving The Quake" contest, held
by a local Wenatchee radio station. I lived in the Zone for 21 days,
where I talked daily on live radio, and even sang a song. I won!
A brand new luxury car. I love to be in front of the camera, and
when I am I just come alive. I am very funny, and I love to make
people laugh. I am not in any way violent, but I have the looks
and persona, to play the part of the villain. I would love to be
the hero though!
I have been on National television many times throughout the year 2001, andcontinuing
on into 2002. I have a small part in the show Ripley's Believe It Or Not. I am
in the show featuring Kelly Nelson (Americas Oldest female bodybuilder). I have
received much public attention due to these many appearances on T.V. I am making
my move on Hollywood in the spring of 2002.
I will be signing with a Seattle agent, and make an attempt to
Captivate the world with my talent.
If you are interested in meeting me, please don't hesitate to call.
You will not regret it!
2004 Update
I am now ready to make my mark in the film industry.
Finished with college, I have taken one step closer to my dream
of acting in the film industry. This website is just a glimpse of
me, and what I have to offer the world. With my background in casting
and acting in film, theatre, and competing in bodybuilding I am
prepared for this journey into the movies. My life of martial arts,
bodybuilding, power lifting, radio, sports, and anything active
I can experience, I have some interesting and unique characteristics
not found in Hollywood presently. If I was able to choose my niche
in acting, I would choose to be an action star, but I would make
a good villain, comic, or romantic.
Most recently, Fashion Rock in Orlando Florida for
an interview contacted me. Fashion Rock is owned by Lou Perlman,
the creator of famous bands such as The Backstreet Boys, Nsync,
and Ashley Simpson just to name a few. I am going to the 2005 talent
competition, and will compete for $100,000 in acting, modeling,
singing, and a couple other categories. I am sending out my personal
video and talent portfolio to casting agents, directors, ABC, NBC,
and others. I hope to be cast for Fear Factor, Survivor, The Bachelor,
or any other reality television show. You'll be seeing me soon!
I promise.
God Bless, John Blade
